Country Music Star John Berry Coming to Black Oak Casino
Singer who performed for former president George H.W. Bush’s birthday party
will play on Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 8pm
John Berry, who has one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in country music, will be performing at the Black Oak Casino on December 17th. Berry has multiple gold and platinum albums and nominations from the Grammys, the Country Music Association, and the Academy of Country Music.
Two of Berry’s biggest fans are former President George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara. Berry was invited to perform at Bush’s birthday bash, where the former president told him about Barbara Bush’s “complete fascination” with Berry’s vocal talent.
Berry, who resides in Georgia, has recorded more than fifteen studio albums. He has also charted 19 songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including the #1 single "Your Love Amazes Me" and six additional Top Ten hits.
Berry’s romantic single Will You Marry Me? became known for getting people to pop the question. One media reviewer commented, “Will You Marry Me? will make those single guys want to run out and get the ring for their lady and married couples will want to renew their vows.” In fact, one fan was so inspired after hearing the song on the radio that he called Berry’s fan club to get the CD early so he could play the song when he proposed to his girlfriend.
