TUOLUMNE, CA (April 17, 2007)–.  Paperback Writer showcases the timeless music of the Beatles at Black Oak Casino with two live performances at the Willow Creek Lounge Friday, April 27th at 9pm and Sunday, April 29th at 8pm.

These two nights promise Beatles fans an extravaganza of color and song as Paperback Writer takes the stage with their acclaimed show Paperback Writer, the Beatles Experience

Paperback Writer has been dazzling national audiences for over three years with their uncannily realistic portrayal of the Fab Four.  The band formed as the result of a collaborative effort between top tribute show talent from around California.  Members Glenn Henry, Richard Gibson, Gene Martin, and Chris Hilliard vocally and visually transform into Paul, Ringo, George, and John at every performance.  Authentic Beatle-era instruments, Go-Go dancers, and nostalgic costumes will astonish fans with the all the exhilaration of a real Beatles’ performance.     

Paperback Writer has been praised by critics for their ability to emulate the challenging vocal work and style of the Beatles.  Their show has something for every Beatles lover, spanning the chronology of the group’s work, from the Ed Sullivan years, to the Shea Stadium days, to the magical psychedelic era of Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club.  Fans will hear favorites like A Hard Day’s Night, She Loves You, Penny Lane, and Let it Be, along with the band’s namesake show-stopping tune, Paperback Writer.  The song is not often attempted by other tribute shows due to the complexity of vocals and dubbed studio techniques.  Paperback Writer tackles the song at every concert.
